Bass Drum of Death – Live

It was a night of high-energy in Burlington when Oxford, Mississippi garage rock band Bass Drum of Death took a moment out of their extensive world touring schedule to stop by Signal Kitchen and blow the roof off playing tunes fresh off of the release of their self-titled album. Truly the embodiment of garage rock, Barrett and crew have an aura with the ability to turn a mundane Tuesday night into the event of the season for rock and roll fans. From the first head-banging guitar riff to the last powerful tom fill, the venue was alive with the spirit of rock.

The vision for the project comes from John Barrett, who is a one man band in the studio, playing all instruments as well as heading the recording process. Unsurprisingly, Barrett played as a one man band live until 2008. Presently, Barrett is joined by Len Clark and Josh Hunter while on tour and previously was accompanied by drummer Colin Sneed.
