BADBADNOTGOOD X Moran Plant [Video Series]

Toronto’s jazz and hip-hop infusion super-group, BADBADNOTGOOD, has been busy since the last time we saw them. After releasing both of their live sets at Signal Kitchen in 2014, the guys enjoyed the success of their highly-praised III, released on Innovative Leisure (also home to Bass Drum of Death, whose live set at Signal Kitchen you can enjoy here). 2015 saw the release of SOUR SOUL, a joint effort with Ghostface Killah featuring Danny Brown, Elzhi, Tree, and MF DOOM. We got with the band last year to produce a series of videos inside the historic Moran Plant as part of an effort toward encouraging its reconstruction and re-purposing as a community hub and cultural center in Burlington, Vermont. The building, a derelict coal power plant, is positioned to become the first of its kind to be converted into an entirely net-zero energy space. Visit moranplant.org to find out more and to help support their newly-launched fundraising campaign. While you’re at it, enjoy these select live performances from III of “CS60,” “Differently, Still,” and “Kaleidoscope.”
