Steve Gunn

Coming to us from Brooklyn, New York, guitarist/singer/songwriter/producer Steve Gunn will bring his particularly rare brand of alternative country-rock infused musical creations to Signal Kitchen. To pin him down to one genre would be a disservice to the sheer breadth of his artistry and musicianship. Gunn draws influences from everything from country to funk, psychedelia, rock, folk, and classical Indian music. His passion for a wide variety of music is evidenced by the depth of his catalogue, which spans 7 years and a dozen solo, collaborative, and split album releases alongside an EP and several singles. His latest release, titled Seasonal Hire, came out in February of this year and is a collaborative work with the Appalachian old-time band The Black Twig Pickers.
