Video Series Showcase of Soundtoys Audio Plug-Ins

Soundtoys is known for developing some of the best plug-ins in the pro audio world. They came to us with a challenge—create a content series that would showcase the impressive list of artists who use their products while embodying the company’s innovation and dedication to furthering creativity. Working alongside the Soundtoys team, we created “Process”: a video series that celebrates remarkable artists (and Soundtoys users) through an inside look at their creative methodology.

We developed a graphic identity and direction for the series, selected and booked artists based on their creativity and relevance to the industry, and deployed our photography and videography production teams to capture content. For the first installment of the series, we sat down with Trent Reznor and the members of Nine Inch Nails to discuss their creative process, the use of effects in live performances, and the ways in which NIN utilized Soundtoys plug-ins on their latest album, Hesitation Marks. In the second installment, we interviewed Scott Hansen, the San Francisco-based producer, composer, musician, graphic designer, and mastermind behind the critically-acclaimed project Tycho.

The series has been successful thus far, garnering hundreds of thousands of views. Fans have shown considerable support through comments, shares, and messages for the focus on creative substance over product promotion. The artists have also engaged by sharing the videos extensively across their large network of social media followers. The project is ongoing, with more releases planned for this year.
