Milo

Born in Chicago, Illinois with ties to Milwaukee, Wisconsin and Saco, Maine, some would say that Rory Ferreira (aka Milo) is an unlikely character to have landed so deeply in the LA/West Coast art rap scene. From the bedroom to the studio, Milo is now signed with Hellfyre Club and has worked with some of the most established artists in the genre including Busdriver, Kool A.D., and Open Mike Eagle, among others. At just 23 years old, Milo is already accruing a prolific list of EPs, mixtapes, and full length albums. His latest full album, A Toothpaste Suburb, was released in 2014 and was met with praise across the internet – that is, among those in the know enough to understand the values and intentions of the genre as well as what makes Milo unique in his approach. Still operating in the realm of the underground, Milo’s career is just beginning to blossom and he will surely have a surge in popularity as the public is exposed to his honest and approachable brand of intellectualism and philosophy.
