Jake Klar

Rhythm and groove, grit and honesty, Klar’s music is part of the new Americana synergy that infuses Rock and Pop sensibilities with Folk sincerity. Jake Klar releases his EP “Crescent St. Blues”, produced by Chris Freeman of the band Parsonsfield. Klar gives us a collection of songs that were variously inspired by a three-year, hard-luck-hard-love journey through the American Southwest, chased down by a single shot of winter in London. An emerging talent, Klar explores in his music the inner workings of a man enduring the hardships of the road, the weather, hideous Texan spiders, and an irresistible love that almost always, like Klar himself, goes south.
