I started playing Latin music in Burlington Vermont in 1989 as a means to get the (then small) Latin Community together and to provide an opportunity to hear the Music. The music caught on and became contagious. We grew! We would often hear – “The music is great, so much fun …. BEST Crowds and lots of people started coming to the Dances!”

As time went by, I began DJing for larger events and private functions. Clubs, colleges, Restaurants and organizations wanted Latin music and Latin dances. Soon after I saw a need for productions. I produced the Burlington Latino Festival with Burlington Parks and Recreation for 13 years. I also produced events at Club Higher Ground with Latin Bands and Dance Instructors. In time, Salsa became a familiar word in Burlington and everyone was taking lessons, Latin Bands were formed and other djs played their music. We were an instrumental component in opening the doors to Latin Bands, djs and dance instructors. Hope you are enjoying Latin Music in Vermont!!!!
