Rory Ferreira began his career in 2010 as part of the Wisconsin based group Nom de Rap. The next year he went solo under the stage name Milo, inspired by the children’s adventure novel The Phantom Tollbooth. Similar to the origin of his name, Milo draws lyrical influence from literature, among other creative mediums such as painting, sculpture, music, video games, and more. Since his 2011 mixtape I Wish My Brother Rob Was Here, Milo has released two albums, four mixtapes and a number of features with other artists. Boston’s Michael Christmas will co-headline the night. Christmas caught attention across the country in 2014 with his debut mixtape Is it Art? and has rapidly been making his way into the forefront of hip-hop with clever, often comical lyrics that play on his refreshingly humble brand of observational humor.
